We cannot believe this weekend is our Lavender Festival!! We hope you are excited as we are!
If you have been paying attention to our Facebook page, you may have seen that we do indeed have Lavender! After the excessive rain we have been receiving, it was almost anyone's guess how the plants were going to react. However, the plants are huge and green and do indeed have lavender buds growing on them. We can't wait for you to come see them on Saturday.
We are working hard on getting our new Gift Shop ready to go for the Festival as well. Come be the first guests in our awesome Shop! We are also making tons of product for the Festival. We will have all of our products available to purchase on the Farm as well as opportunities to learn a bit about how they are made.
Speaking of our products, did you know we have some new products for the summer? Over the past few weeks, we have introduced an all natural Insect Repellant and a Lavender Simple Syrup. Both of these will also be available this weekend!
Finally, we want to take a few seconds to answer some frequently asked questions regarding our Festival:
Is there handicapped parking?
Unfortunately, we are not up to all ADA specifications. However, our land is very flat and there will be parking available.
Are pets allowed?
Because of the expected crowds, we are asking that you leave your pets at home this weekend. We have a lot of land which is great for puppies to run around, but this weekend is just going to be too crazy to add any extra creatures!
Will there be lavender for sale?
Yes! We will have opportunities for a u-pick. You can pick your own bundles of lavender for $10/bundle.
Will there be food?
Yes! We are excited to have a taco food truck from Neosho, MO providing food throughout the day.
Do I need to bring anything?
Feel free to bring chairs or blankets to hang out in the fields while you listen to our incredibly musical guests and you are more than welcome to bring a snack and water bottle. We also recommend an umbrella or poncho (just in case), sunscreen, sunglasses, and a bag to carry all of your Festival goods. This is an outdoor event and you will be in a field on an active farm. Please prepare for all possibilities of effects from Mother Nature.
Admissions will open at 9am! Entrance fee is $5 per person, children under 5 years old are free. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.
We cannot wait to see you all this weekend!!
Have a wonderful week and take some time to care of yourself!
PS: Enjoy this incredible picture of a storm over the farm from earlier this week!
